Mother of Pearl brooch. Measures about 2" wide. Was also my grandmother's. It's a hand-pierced Star of Bethlehem brooch from a pilgrimage to Jerusalem from the 1950s. Carved Mother of Pearl jewelry was a popular souvenir in Jerusalem during the 20th century, and has become highly collectible. This piece was expertly carved and is in beautiful condition. The epoxy on the back side extends beyond the edge of the pin backing, but this does not affect wear or its beauty on the front. Reduced to $100. Located in Killam Alberta
